Alperin Family Volunteerism/Campus Involvement Scholarship

Throughout his undergrad experience at Salisbury State College, Jon Alperin (’88) was active in many campus organizations that created experiences for all students, from WSSC Radio and Salisbury State Theatre to the Evergeen Yearbook. With friends, he even organized an independent weekend dance event, the first ever held in the student center itself. Now, he gives back to his own community as a volunteer EMT, holding leadership positions in the Mendham First Aid Squad for a decade. With this scholarship, he celebrates his own successes as well as those of his sister and his nephew, all Salisbury graduates, by recognizing Salisbury students who contribute the overall benefit of student life and community involvement through volunteerism.
