Bill a native of Long Island, New York attended Villanova University and worked in the Philadelphia area for 22 years working in the field of Information Technology where he met Shari a native of Iowa who attended University of Iowa and has worked in the transportation logistics, broadcast media and insurance business sectors. Even though they are not native to the Delmarva Peninsula, they have lived here 27 years, the beaches and Atlantic Ocean are familiar reminders of home on Long Island for Bill and the flat terrain and corn fields remind Shari of Iowa.
The Burke family is committed to continuing to support the future students of Salisbury University and the various programs available to them.
