Nina Dixon Chatham and Grover Floyd Chatham Scholarship

Glenda Chatham Clarke named this scholarship in honor of her parents who taught her the value of education and its lifelong transformative power. Clarke is a 1968 graduate of James M. Bennett High School and a proud first generation college graduate of Salisbury University, Class of 1972 with a major in English and a minor in secondary education. The goal of this scholarship is to help other James M. Bennett High School graduates who will be the first from their families to attend college. Clarke and her husband, Robert, have also endowed the Glenda Chatham and Robert G.Clarke Honors College at SU.
