The McGhee STEM Scholarship

My wife Paula and I created the Salisbury University STEM Scholarship because we believe education is one of the most powerful ways to change a person’s future. STEM fields are driving innovation, solving complex problems, and creating opportunities for the next generation. We wanted to help talented students pursue those opportunities, regardless of financial challenges.

As members of the Salisbury community, we wanted to invest in the university and in students who have the curiosity, work ethic, and determination to make a difference. Our hope is that this scholarship not only eases the financial burden of college but also encourages students to dream bigger, achieve more, and ultimately give back to their communities.

We see this scholarship as way to create a lasting legacy—one that supports future scientists, engineers, healthcare professionals, technologists, and innovators who will help shape the future.
