Joseph and Anna G. Seidel Scholarship

The Joseph and Anna G. Seidel Scholarship provides financial assistance to students from the lower Eastern Shore, MD (Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties) who are members of either the Beth Israel Congregation in Salisbury, MD or the Bat Yam Congregation in Ocean City, MD (first preference only). First consideration for funding is also given to an incoming freshman. Additional eligibility requirements include: 3.0 cumulative high school GPA, ranking in the top 25% of the high school class and enrollment for a minimum of 15 credits per semester at Salisbury University. A recipient may retain the scholarship for a maximum of 4 years provided he/she has a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average at Salisbury University and has successfully completed 15 credit hours per term. Interested students should contact the Financial Aid Office and provide documentation certifying their affiliation with one of the above congregations if applicable. Scholarship may be canceled if the 15 credit per semester requirement is not fulfilled.

All undergraduate students are recommended to apply to this scholarship opportunity because we do not filter any eligibility requirements on the General Application.
