Lower Shore Scholarship Fund

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, we are pleased to distribute this grant from our new Lower Shore Scholarship Fund.

This fund was created in 2022 with the distinct purpose to allow our local partners in higher education- Wor-Wic Community College, Salisbury University, and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore-to help meet the scholarship needs of students with limited financial aid.

We know that students have a variety of needs, and Salisbury University works to help those who might “slip through the cracks” or who don’t qualify for traditional scholarship awards. This award is made to support your efforts to defray the costs of education for students who need it most.
It is our hope that this fund, which will grow over time, will allow your team to identify these students and give them the hand-up that will empower them to continue to pursue higher education.
