Wallace Q French Memorial Scholarship
The Wallace Q. French Memorial Scholarship is a two-year, $2,000-per-year award given annually by the Tidewater Environmental Health Association in memory of their colleague Wallace Q. French. Applicants must be natural science (earth science or physics), biology, or chemistry majors; must be a junior or senior of the upcoming year; have a cumulative 3.0 GPA and must submit a short essay discussing career goals in the science field. Recipients are selected by the Tidewater Environmental Health Association and the faculty of the Henson School of Science.

I am aware that should my grade point average fall below 3.00 or I change my course of study not in the Natural Sciences I am ineligible to receive the balance of this scholarship grant. I am aware the scholarship grant will not exceed $1000.00 per semester for a maximum of four semesters. Other tuition awards I may be receiving will reduce this scholarship award to an amount that will not exceed the total tuition costs per semester.
