Worcester Soil Conservation District Scholarship
The Worcester Soil Conservation District Board of Supervisors is offering their third-annual
$500 scholarship to support a High School Senior or College Student pursuing post-secondary education in 2026. Students must be a resident of Worcester County and entering a field of study beneficial to Agriculture. Majors considered eligible include but are not limited to animal science, soil science, forestry, agricultural technology, crop production, crop science, agricultural economics, and/or agribusiness. Enclosed you will find this year’s scholarship application form and pre-selected essay topics.

Your application packet must be postmarked by May 1, 2026.
The Worcester Soil Conservation District Board of Supervisors will review all applications received by the deadline above. Applications will be discussed at the May Board Meeting. Notification of decision will be made to Applicants by June 1. Awards will be made payable to the attending College or University Cashier’s Office. With parent/s permission, announcement of the awarded Applicant with a photo and brief description will be posted on the SCD’s website under News.

An electronic copy of this application can be found on the SCD website or pick up a paper copy at our office in Snow Hill. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
