Student Veteran Scholarships - Berkman Charitable Foundation

The Harold & Muriel Berkman Charitable Foundation was established to advance the founders’ longstanding commitment to higher education in the United States, with a particular focus on preparing future business leaders and promoting the effective application of knowledge in business and administration. The Foundation also seeks to recognize and support the achievements of men and women who have honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces as they transition to the next phase of their academic and professional journeys.

Since 2014, the Foundation has awarded hundreds of scholarships to student veterans pursuing higher education as a way of expressing gratitude for their service and supporting their continued success. Beginning this year, Berkman Veteran Scholarships have increased to $2,000 each.

In addition, one recipient from the applicant pool will be selected to receive the $3,000 General Albin F. Irzyk Veteran Scholarship, a distinguished award recognizing exceptional merit. No separate application is required for this honor.

Eligibility Requirements:
• U.S. citizen
• Student veteran enrolled in ANY discipline at a college or university accredited by AACSB
• Honorable discharge, as documented by DD Form 214 (required with application)

While all eligible student veterans are encouraged to apply, those who have been awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), Combat Action Badge (CAB), or Purple Heart are especially encouraged to submit an application.
The application window remains open until mid-September. For additional information, please visit https://berkmanfoundation.org.

Applicants can also go directly to the application-hosting platform, Kaleidoscope.
