Richard A. Henson School of Science and Technology Scholarship for Incoming Freshman
The Richard A. Henson School of Science and Technology annually awards scholarships to incoming freshman students. Students must declare a major in one of the departments of the Henson School of Science & Technology and must have a record of accomplishment and service. Incoming freshman must have a minimum SAT score of 1250 or ACT of 26 and a high school cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better. Test optional admitted students must have at least a 3.7 HS GPA or better in order to apply. Henson Scholarships are renewed each semester, up to 8 semesters, provided that the awardees remain in Henson School major, enroll full-time each semester 12 credits or more and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00. As a condition of receiving the Richard Henson Scholarship you are expected to attend the Henson Scholar’s Luncheon each May. You will receive a formal invitation from the Henson School Dean’s Office in the early spring.
